Great Noise returns for the second time to Fairmont State University‘s West Fork New Music Festival as the headliners for performances on September 28 and 29, both at 7:30 p.m. Events will be held at Wallman Hall.

The Friday concert includes works by John Frederick Paul, Matthew Heap, Lansing McLoskey, Steven Landis, Amelia Kaplan, Brittany J. Green, and Vahid Jahandari. The Saturday concert includes works by Grant Cooper, Armando Bayolo, Tyler Kemp, Nickitas Demos, Jonathan Newmark, and Julie Barwick.

In addition to the performances, GNE members will serve on a panel at 1:00 p.m. on September 28 to discuss their development as a new music ensemble and current directions in new music.

We are indebted to Daniel Eichenbaum, Assoc. Prof. of Music and organizer of West Fork New Music Festival, for including us again at this vibrant event.
